PowerTool: Your
Desire Card
This is really a "cheap trick" in that it costs you practically
nothing, but it can change your life. How's that for an intro?
Take a 3x5 note card. Turn it to where the 3" is at the top,
like
a small sheet of paper.
Write this at the top in large print:
"IS THIS WHAT I TRULY DESIRE?"
Under that, draw a line down the center of the card. On the
left column, write "YES", and on the right, write "NO".

How to remember quotations
How many times have you read through an
interesting passage in a book, or an amusing quotation in a
newspaper, and thought to yourself – ‘that makes sense, I’ll
remember that.’
If you are like most people, then I would think
that the answer is probably many times. The next question then
is how many times can you accurately recall the passage or
quotation concerned, after a moderate interval of time has
passed by? The problem is that recalling any reasonably long
piece of text is for most people not an easy task.

Firstly let me begin this section by telling
you that your memory is excellent. Yes you
read correctly. I did say excellent! What do
you mean you don’t believe me? The plain and
simple fact of the matter is that it has
been proven, with the aid of such techniques
as hypnosis, that everything that an
individual sees, hears, thinks, or does in
his or her life, leaves some trace (no
matter how small) somewhere in their brain.
And unless someone’s brain suffers some kind
of physical trauma – for example an
haemorrhage, tumour, or some other form of
injury or disease that results in the
permanent destruction of certain regions of
the brain. Then the memories will leave some
record for the rest of their life.

How
to remember your dreams In this section of the
site, I intend to outline a method whereby you may form a record
of your dreams. I shall endeavour to explain the details of this
system as this section unfolds. However before doing so, I would
just like to take a few moments to offer you a brief explanation
of the purpose of dreaming. So that you will know exactly what
it is that you are attempting to recollect.

In the same sense...
* When you focus on the negative aspects of other people, they
tend to bother you more often.
* When you focus on the negative aspects of your business/work, you
tend to feel more
uptight, annoyed or stressed.
It is not that people, work or life bothers us. Rather, it is
the negative aspects of people, work or life that we focus on that tend to
bother us.
Becoming resilient to pressure is a choice.
How fast you bounce back from stress, pressure and burnout is a choice.
> Question: So, how do you choose
to be resilient?
> Answer: By practicing gratitude

Review Techniques :
Keeping Acquired Information Fresh in Your
Mind
Remembering things in the long-term can be
tricky. Yet, especially in today’s busy
times, increasing deadline-related projects
and growing to-do lists, much of the
information we take-in needs to be “stored”
for later use or application.
It is completely normal for memories of
things learned to be clearest immediately
after learning them. But, as time goes on,
we tend to forget more and more of the
information, finally being able to recall
only small parts of what we so-diligently
learned.
This can be particularly destructive in the
workplace, making it important to find a
reliable tool that keeps information “fresh”
and saves you valuable time and effort by
not requiring “relearning.”
Surprisingly, it may be as simple as
reviewing the knowledge you need absorb and
apply later more frequently, which enables
you to keep it fresh and alive in your mind.
This makes it easy to recall when you need
it with a minimum of effort.

Optimism Increases Productivity
How am I going to get
through all this work?
I don't know what will happen if I fail?
What happens if we don't meet the sales
budget?
I hope that I don't get sick!
If
this is a familiar train of thought then
you are in trouble!
Pessimism has been found to not only
increase stress, but also increases
incidence of illness &
absenteeism, tiredness, slower recovery
from surgery, low self esteem, and
causes the under use of abilities.
You simply cannot afford
to 'put up' with a bad mood, having a
miserable day, or negative colleagues.
Pessimism will drain both your
productivity and quality of life.

It has been said that
standard education will get you jobs, and self-education
will make you fortunes. This is no doubt true, and I
believe that reading is a key skill necessary to
self-education. Statistics say the average CEO in
America reads 4-5 books per month while the average
American reads 1 book per year! This same statistic goes
on to say that 60% of those average American's don't
even get past the first chapter in that one book! You
may shrug your shoulders and say – okay big deal – so
what? I am not a reader and why should that bother me?

Power Your Mind With Creative Visualisation
Creative
visualization is the technique of using your
imagination to create pictures of yourself
achieving a desired goal or outcome and
focusing on that image until you achieve
your objective.
Use the power of your imagination to create
what you want in your life.
Let go of your limitations -
Act Now!

People today are spending longer
hours at work, in front of their
computers, just to meet their
pressing deadlines and KPIs.
As a result, there are more
incidents of debilitating back pain,
neck ache, headaches, RSI and
burnout that are reducing
productivity and increasing stress
leave.
So what is the answer?
Movement prevents productivity
attrition.
